2] How did you get the name?
uh, it's a phonetic translation of my fake Chinese name into English and Japanese (Chuwei in Chinese and Shuura in Japanese are written with the same kanji characters.) I didn't know proper pinying back then so it's sort of butcherized XD
3] Do you use PC or Mac?
PC, but I wish it looked like a Mac...
Apple stuff are cute.
4] What software you use most often?
OC3 and PS-CS3E
5] Do you use mouse, or tablet?
I started out drawing with a mouse, and since then upgraded to a cheap low-sensitivity 6x8 $50 dollar tablet and then to a used Wacom Graphire 6x8 tablet, which is what I'm still currently using.
6] The color you use most often is?
blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacck because I cannot color hahhahahahahaa.
7] What area of the pictures do you put most effort into?
lineart 'coz I hate coloring. Hate hate hate.
8] How long does it take you do draw a picture?
An inspired sketch takes me about 10 min to half an hour. A non-inspired sketch consisting of repeated erasing and redrawing and erasing can take up to several hours to several days :<
Inking only takes me like 5-10 minutes XD;;; cuz I can always correct lineart mistakes on ze compoootar.
9] Do you keep your rough drafts?
yeah, but then I lose half of them, so.....
10] What kind of font do you use most often?
I like size 10 Verdana, but for fancy fonts I love Dragonwick and Chopin Script
11] What's the dpi when you scan?
uhhh 150 so I can clean up the lineart and then I shrink it 'cuz I hate working with huge proportions. Recently I've been trying to work larger from ~
finni's suggestions so I try to work at 300 dpi and also for print usage.
12] Do you do anything else when you're drawing pictures?
just about everything.........eat, drink, listen to music, chat, go online, attempt to homework when I get bored with drawing and vice versa...
13] How many pictures do you draw in a month?
when I used to be active, probably like uhh 3, not counting doodles. Doodles a month probably number around 20ish ... Nowadays due to being busy I rarely draw. Maybe once a month but trying to get in the habit of practiicng more -- I'm really out of practice.
14] What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on?
compooootar paperrr if I have it, if not then anything else.

16] How long does it take to ink something?
Traditional inking goes pretty fast, around 5 mins LOL cuz I don't do backgrounds, usually avoid doing groups or fullbodies, and don't have much detail ahahahahahah 8D
Digital inking takes me a lot longer because gripping the tablet pen hurts for some reason and also it draws differently from normal pens. Digital inking takes me about 30 min~1hr.
17] Do you do doujinshi or original manga?
no but I want to, although I did try doing webcomics for a little bit.

yursh, but I don't have much experience making any.

....What? I've bought books that have inspired me to draw but I don't buy books for the sole purpose of hoping to be inspired enough to draw something. I'm also too cheap to buy artbooks-- when I need references, I google.

What? If you draw bad you draw bad, or you're having an off day, you can't blame your brain for that.

Know a few who definitely COULD be professionals, but they aren't (yet?) due to various reasons that you shouldn't ask me to elaborate cuz you should ask them instead since I wouldn't know exactly why.

Yep. But I cut them a little bit of slack since they've obviously spent too much points in the artistic skill category that they have negative points in the personality and intelligence categories...guess you can't blame them too much for that. When I meet stupid people. That encompasses a LOT of different people.

I dunno. lineart is usually around 30 to 80 some, colored pics 70 to 150 some. This has increased to an average of 250kb now.
